David Spreng

FOUNDER

David Spreng is the co-founder of the Wine Forum and a veteran of the venture capital and growth lending businesses. He founded or co-founded Crescendo Ventures, Decathlon Capital and Runway Growth Capital. As a venture capitalist he was active in the formation and development of nearly 50 technology companies with 17 IPO's and 13 trade-sales. David has been ranked on Forbes Midas List (number 8 among VCs in 2005). He has been a regular participant and panelist at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos and a member of WEF's Technology Pioneers selection committee and on the steering committee for Entrepreneurship and Successful Growth Strategies. He served on the Advisory Board of the Silicon Valley Executive Network, as a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and a board member and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of the National Venture Capital Association. He was a student in the Masters of Wine program and chairman of the board of Chapter 24 Vineyards.

 

Simon Littler

Simon has spent the last 25 years founding multiple companies including The World Wine Exchange and The Global Wine Company. An Englishman born and bred, Simon began working with food and wine from an early age in between a busy rugby calendar. He advises and mentors CEOs and executive teams and serves on the boards of multiple companies in a broad array of businesses focusing on creating sustainable and impactful growth in people and organizations. Philanthropically, he is active in the Inside Circle Foundation, an organization working in high security prisons that works to create transformative environments for healing. He is also a partner of Gratitude Railroad, an organization that focuses capital and expertise in key impact and sustainable areas of business across the US.
