David Spreng
FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
David Spreng is the co-founder and chairman of the Wine Forum and a veteran of the venture capital and growth lending businesses. He founded or co-founded Crescendo Ventures, Decathlon Capital and Runway Growth Capital. As a venture capitalist he was active in the formation and development of nearly 50 technology companies with 17 IPO's and 13 trade-sales. David has been ranked on Forbes Midas List (number 8 among VCs in 2005). He has been a regular participant and panelist at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos and a member of WEF's Technology Pioneers selection committee and on the steering committee for Entrepreneurship and Successful Growth Strategies. He served on the Advisory Board of the Silicon Valley Executive Network, as a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and a board member and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of the National Venture Capital Association. He was a student in the Masters of Wine program and chairman of the board of Chapter 24 Vineyards.

Dylan Kennedy is Managing Director of the Wine Forum, where he oversees operations and strategic execution across the company’s global activities. He leads wine sales and sourcing with a focus on member experience, quality, and market awareness, while directing international logistics and the execution of the firm’s events. Having earned advanced WSET certifications, Dylan brings both deep technical expertise and a thoughtful, hands-on approach to the wine world. He is fluent in English and German, with additional proficiency in French and Italian. His international background and experience across multiple industries inform a global perspective and a multidisciplinary approach to business. He maintains a strong interest in building businesses that combine precision, creativity, and enduring value.
